These Post Cards are from the 1970s and 1980s. Most have stood the tests of time better than most of the others that I have.

Midland Railway 0-6-0 4F No.3924 (later 43924), shown here in BR black livery between Haworth and Oxenhope (Worth Valley Line). These Engines were designed and introduced to the Midland in 1911, Stanier 2-8-0 Class 8F No.8431 Heavy Freight engines were introduced in 935. Polish State Railway 2-8-0 locomotive No.TH 203 474 at Katowice shed Poland. This locomotive was built in America by Lima in 1945 and numbered 5280. After 30 years service with the PKP it was purchased by the K & WVR in 1977. No. 957 again here in its fictitious G N & S R livery must have been taken around 1970 for the filming of the Railway Children. I do not know who took this photograph or where I got it from
